I think it also depends on the type of mood you are trying to project. The black & white is more ominous and the color is more bright & cheerful. Both beautiful!
depends on the scene. Nature usually wants color in my mind unless making a point of damages done to her through examples of industrial waste….most general photos are best in color, but I think the ones that you hope to make more of an impact in message, work well as black and white.
Both are beautiful. I think I might choose the black and white, the bird seems to stick out more. But the clouds are more striking in the color.
I agree with you, I’m torn lol! Thank you for commenting 😊
both are great. if you any good in photoshop you could try and do the sky in color and the ground and bird in black and white.

I love color. The color picture here is beautiful with its contrasts bringing a breath taking impact.
color!
B/W
I used to prefer B&W, but lately I have been transitioning into color! I like both, but prefer color at the moment.
I love color images but there are times when black and white looks great too.

Both look great, but I going to say color.
Definitely the colour. It looks like a painting.
color
I choose 4 me color. I can feel more the mood of the clouds.
I would like the black and white with more contrast and definition, that is my personal taste. How ever both shots are lovely!
Black & white
The B&W would be enhanced by filtering the sky for red. That would make the blues in the sky darker and more contrasty.
I prefer the colour, but then I’m not a great fan of black and white. Sometimes B&W works, but I think for this scene, the colour is more striking.
In this case, I prefer the B&W. The sky seems more dramatic and the bird stands out better to me (of course, I am partially color blind, so…)
