I like the way your eye is drawn naturally to the light area of the sky then down to the horizon making for a “pretty” scene – then, you whack the viewer in the head with the litter in the shadowed foreground. Nice work!
That looks like the Isle of Grain, one of my favourite isolated spots on the North Kent coast. I haven’t been there since I started blogging and trying to take better photos. I think you have inspired another visit. Thanks.
Great juxtaposition in the image, try looking at a photographer called Fay Godwin. She studied the landscape and mans interaction with it but more important the scarring that man made on the landscape.
